Inclement Weather Policy:
Please listen to any local news announcements for the Tarrant/Parker County area. Weather conditions can vary from one neighborhood to the next, so even though an event has not been cancelled, only you can decide whether conditions will allow for safe travel.
Do not worry about missing services in this situation.
So please use your own best judgement since only you know about your ability to drive in severe weather. We will make every attempt to have all services, however, there are times when conditions are just too dangerous and we will cancel.
If it is judged to be too dangerous for the majority of the church body to travel, updates will be posted on this web page if electrical power is still working. Cancellations are for the safety and welfare of our members.

National Weather Alerts
1. Severe Thunderstorm Watch:
Conditions are conducive to the development of severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
2. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings:
A severe thunderstorm has actually been observed by spotters or indicated on radar, and is occurring or imminent in the warning area.
3. Tornado Watch:
Conditions are conducive to the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area.
4. Tornado Warning:
A tornado has actually been sighted by spotters or indicated on radar and is occurring or imminent in the warning area.
5. Winter Weather Advisory:
Conditions are expected to cause significant inconveniences and may be hazardous. This can often be called a snow advisory or a freezing rain advisory. A snow advisory is for less than 4" accumulations.
6. Winter Storm Watch:
Severe winter conditions, such as accumulations of heavy snow and/or ice of 4"/10 cm or more possible within the next 36-48 hours.
7. Winter Storm Warning:
Same as a watch, except conditions are expected to begin within 24 hours or have already begun.
