Inclement Weather Policy:

Do not worry about missing services in severe weather situations.

Please listen to any local news announcements for the Tarrant/Parker County area.  Weather conditions can vary from one neighborhood to the next, so even though an event has not been canceled, only you can decide whether conditions will allow for safe travel.

Please use your own judgement since only you know about your ability to drive in severe weather.  We will make every attempt to have all services, however, there are times when conditions are just too dangerous to attempt to drive and we will cancel.

If it is judged to be too dangerous for the majority of the church body to travel, updates will be posted on this web page if electrical power is still working.   Cancellations are for the safety and welfare of our members.

National Weather Alerts

1. Severe Thunderstorm Watch: Conditions are conducive to the development of severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

2. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings: A severe thunderstorm has actually been observed by spotters or indicated on radar, and is occurring or  imminent in the warning area.

3. Tornado Watch: Conditions are conducive to the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area.

4. Tornado Warning: A tornado has actually been sighted by spotters or indicated on radar and is occurring or imminent in the warning area.

Talking on a land-line telephone or being online at your computer during a storm can be dangerous!!!    Use caution.
